TREYHOFF Architecture

The gentle sloping site fronting the busy street provided wonderful opportunities, but required thoughtful planning.  The design provides open spaces accessible from both the front and back of the house and also takes advantage of proper solar orientation.  The ground-face block walls provide a sense of stability, security and privacy from the busy residential street and act as a backdrop to the future growth of the landscape.  Garages are located on both the main floor level and lower basement level to minimize the impact of the garage massing.  Warmth and color  is achieved with wood panels used as a vertical accent to the horizontal line.
